Carrot FIRST HARVEST

Early Harvest Focused on Market Appeal

The «Первый Сбор» (First Harvest) carrot by OOO «Agro-Best» is a specialized solution for farmers targeting the early bunching produce market. With a short vegetation period of 90-100 days, this variety reaches its full potential when grown under plastic tunnels, allowing producers to hit the market with fresh, young carrots ahead of the competition.

Key Features and Cultivation

• Shape and Size: The conical shape is optimized for rapid growth and ease of bunching. A length of 10-15 cm makes harvesting highly efficient, minimizing the risk of breakage during extraction from the soil.
• Color Profile: The intense orange hue is a hallmark of the breeding program by OOO «Agro-Best» and PNOS, ensuring high visual appeal at retail or direct-to-consumer sales.
• Specialization: This variety is designed for growers who prioritize speed and presentation over long-term storage capacity.

Who is this variety for?

«Первый Сбор» is not intended for winter storage; it is a tactical market product. For those working in the early vegetable segment with access to plastic tunnels, this variety provides predictable results. Thanks to the collaboration between OOO «Agro-Best» and PNOS, the hybrid displays excellent uniformity, with roots sizing up evenly to simplify packing and logistics.

Its greatest strength is the reliable development cycle. Its limitation is its purpose: for long-term storage, later-maturing varieties are more suitable, as the rapid early growth cycle often comes at the expense of shelf life. However, in the early bunching category, «Первый Сбор» remains one of the most technically sound solutions available for the market.
