Cabbage Rida F1

Stable harvests in challenging conditions

When working with the Rida F1 hybrid from TOV "Biznes Stretedzhy Development Ukraina," you immediately notice its plasticity. This white cabbage hybrid, developed by breeder Takahiko Nakai, demonstrates remarkable resistance to field threats. The main issues in cabbage cultivation—thrips and Fusarium wilt—are effectively mitigated by Rida F1, which significantly reduces the need for mid-season fungicide and insecticide applications.

Agronomic indicators and planting density

Flexibility in plantation management is crucial for any grower. The hybrid allows for planting densities ranging from 35,000 to 50,000 plants per hectare. This enables producers to control the commercial yield: with lower density, heads can reach an impressive 7 kg, while standard density produces neat heads weighing 1–2 kg. A maturity period of 70–80 days from seedling makes it an excellent choice for the fresh market, allowing for flexible harvest planning.

Operational features

• Head shape: perfectly round, easy for packaging and logistics.
• Visual quality: deep dark green color that stands out on retail shelves.
• Robustness: a powerful leaf canopy and healthy root system effectively minimize Fusarium risks.

Working with Rida F1 is straightforward: the crop is predictable in its development and does not require specialized agrotechnical interventions beyond standard procedures. High commercial output during mass harvest makes this hybrid a reliable asset for any operation focused on supplying high-quality produce to supermarket chains.
