The root length is 16-18 cm, diameter 4-5 cm, and weight varies from 100 to 180 grams. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and brightly orange, making this variety especially attractive for fresh consumption.
One of the variety's features is that the root is slightly lifted above the soil surface, which significantly facilitates manual harvesting. CRUNCHY-RABBIT CARROT has high resistance to bolting and good storage capacity, allowing it to be stored for a long time without quality loss. This variety is versatile: it is suitable for canning, freezing, and winter storage, as well as for making fresh juices and purées.
To grow carrots, sow seeds in the ground at the end of April – beginning of May at a depth of about 1 cm with a row spacing of 15-20 cm. After seedlings appear, thinning is conducted, leaving 5-7 cm between plants, which contributes to the formation of large and high-quality roots. The yield of the variety reaches 2.8-7.0 kg per square meter, making it a profitable choice for gardeners and farmers.
