Miraflores

Miraflores F1 carrot is a mid-season hybrid of the Chantenay type, developed for successful cultivation in various agrozones of Ukraine. The vegetation period ranges from 110 to 120 days, allowing for a stable and high yield. The hybrid is characterized by high productivity — up to 7-8 kg per square meter when proper agronomic practices are followed, including soil loosening, fertilizer application, and timely watering. Miraflores quickly adapts to various growing conditions and is suitable for mechanized harvesting. Carrot roots have an attractive bright orange color and conical shape with a rounded tip. Root length reaches 15-18 cm, diameter varies from 3 to 4.5 cm at the top. The weight of a single root ranges from 100 to 200 grams. The flesh has a uniform texture, absence of core, and smooth surface, which facilitates cleaning and processing. Roots do not crack during cleaning, enhancing their appearance and quality. Miraflores has high flavor qualities due to its 7-9% sugar content and 22-24 mg of carotene per 100 grams of flesh, making it both nutritious and tasty. The strong, dense foliage stays firmly attached to the roots, helping preserve the harvest. The hybrid is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, juice production, infant nutrition, and long-term storage under cool and dark conditions. Due to its good transportability, Miraflores carrot is in demand in the market and culinary industry.
