Carrot «Babusyni smakolyky»: A 2025 Hybrid for Professional Growers

The «Babusyni smakolyky» hybrid, registered in 2025 by Zhanna Mykolaivna Vovk, is a high-performance crop designed to meet the demands of modern agriculture. With its narrow-triangular root shape and excellent uniformity, this hybrid is set to become a staple for both fresh market sales and industrial processing.

Marketability and Culinary Use

The roots are characterized by a long, slender profile with a flat shoulder and a slightly pointed tip, providing an attractive appearance that appeals to consumers. The deep orange color of both the core and the phloem, which are identical in intensity, ensures a high-quality product for slicing and culinary applications. The low level of surface furrowing contributes to a smooth, clean look that is essential for retail presentation.

Storage and Logistics

One of the key strengths of this hybrid is its durability. The roots are well-suited for long-term storage, maintaining their structural integrity and color intensity over time. The plant shows virtually no tendency to bolt, ensuring a consistent harvest. With a robust leaf rosette and strong green color, the plant remains healthy throughout the season, facilitating easier harvesting and handling. Its transportability is enhanced by the uniform shape and firm texture of the roots.
