Carrot Klaris

Focus on Marketability and Long-Term Storage

The 'Claris' (F1) carrot hybrid, registered in 2025, is designed for professional producers who prioritize high yields of marketable produce. Thanks to its advanced genetics, this hybrid demonstrates excellent uniformity of root crops, which significantly simplifies automated washing and packaging processes. Across the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya regions, the crop shows stable performance, producing roots that are resistant to mechanical damage during harvest.

Culinary Quality and Processing

The primary purpose of 'Claris' is fresh market distribution through supermarkets and retail outlets. The carrots feature a deep, vibrant color and a dense structure, making them highly attractive to consumers. High dry matter and sugar content ensure that the harvest is suitable not only for fresh consumption but also for high-quality industrial processing, including juice production and baby food manufacturing.

Logistics and Shelf Life

One of the key features of this hybrid is its superior transportability. The tough skin and firm core allow the roots to maintain their market appearance during long-distance shipping. When stored under proper temperature conditions, 'Claris' exhibits excellent shelf life, retaining its juiciness and flavor until late spring, providing farmers with the opportunity to sell their produce during periods of peak market prices.
