Annual Ryegrass Limerick is a perennial grass that forms a dense and soft lawn with a bright green hue. Thanks to its high density and uniformity, it quickly fills the area, creating an aesthetically pleasing surface. The grass is resistant to mechanical damage and can withstand intense use, making it a popular choice for sports fields and open areas.

The Limerick variety tolerates both cold winters and hot summer periods well. It recovers vegetatively quickly, with growth starting in spring and ending by late autumn. The optimal sowing period is from April to September; with proper care, the grass reaches a height of 7–10 cm, after which the first mowing is carried out. To achieve maximum lawn density, it is recommended to soak the seeds for 22 hours beforehand and water regularly during the first weeks after germination.

Limerick Ryegrass is often used as a component in lawn mixtures, where it accounts for about 10% of the total mass (for example, in DSV Euro Grass Lippa‑Liliput and Classic mixtures). Combined with other grass species, it improves soil structure, increasing resistance to wind erosion and promoting more uniform lawn growth. Due to its versatility and ease of maintenance, annual ryegrass Limerick is a reliable choice for creating durable and beautiful lawns.
