Brookloun – a high-yielding wheat variety created for cultivation in temperate climates. The variety is distinguished by its good disease resistance: protection from fusarium rot and fungal attacks, including powdery rust.
The variety's large grains have a light-white color, high density, and contain 12–13% protein. Thanks to these characteristics, the grain retains high nutritional value and suitability for further processing.
The recommended sowing is carried out in spring (September-October) at soil temperatures from +5 to +15 °C. Under optimal conditions, the yield reaches 6–7 t/ha, and the grain retains high nutritional value and suitability for further processing. The "Brookloun" variety is also distinguished by good drought resistance and the ability to quickly mature.
