Blueberry TAIGA BEAUTY

Siberian Resilience in Your Garden

The 'Taiga Beauty' (Taezhnaya Krasavitsa) blueberry is a result of breeding work by the Central Siberian Botanical Garden. Developed for harsh climatic conditions, this cultivar shows remarkable resistance to gray mold, a common issue in humid environments that often ruins harvests.

Key Features and Dimensions

Unlike compact, low-growing varieties, 'Taiga Beauty' is a vigorous shrub reaching up to 200 cm in height. This growth habit requires ample space and good air circulation in the garden. A significant advantage is its light tolerance: the cultivar thrives in partial shade, making it an excellent choice for sites with limited direct sunlight.

Harvest: Expectations and Reality

• Fruit Bearing: Expect the first significant yields by the third year after planting.
• Flavor Profile: A balanced sweet-and-sour taste makes the berries versatile, suitable for both fresh consumption and culinary processing.
• Fruit Size: The standout feature is its large berry size, which significantly simplifies harvesting and enhances the marketability of the crop.

'Taiga Beauty' is designed for gardeners willing to manage the shrub's structure. Due to its origin, it is forgiving of many novice errors related to fungal diseases, though it requires patience until it reaches full productivity. It is an ideal option for those seeking a reliable, large-fruited variety adapted to northern latitudes.
