Nerl is a winter-hardy narrow-leaved blueberry variety well-adapted to acidic and peaty soils. It is characterized by synchronized fruiting, resistance to late frosts, and a light, pleasant berry taste. Due to its adaptation to increased humidity, the variety is particularly suitable for northern and central regions where complex care is not required.
The Nerl bush is of medium height and width, the berries are blue, flat-round in shape, with an average weight of about 1.4 g. The berries contain 11% sugar, 0.57% acid, and 10.6 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of product. Yield reaches 69 c/ha, and the variety is not affected by gray mold.
For cultivation at home or in open ground, Nerl seedlings require regular watering, fertilization, and pruning. Planting is carried out after the thawing period, with the plant quickly adapting to new conditions due to its winter hardiness and cold resistance.
