Description Maria
The «MARIA» variety belongs to fodder vetches (Vicia faba L.) and is characterized by medium plant height with a semi-determinate development type. The flowers are long; the petal has a melanin spot and weak anthocyanin pigmentation, which gives the plants a characteristic appearance. The pods are of medium size, covered with beige skin, and have a black hilum.

The grain yield of this variety averages 31.1 ц/га, and dry matter is 54.6 ц/га, which exceeds the indicators of standard varieties such as «Alfred». Additionally, protein content in the grain and dry matter is above average, making «MARIA» particularly valuable for the feed base.

The vegetative period from germination to grain harvest is 91–104 days. Thanks to its universal direction of use, this variety is suitable both for producing fodder vetches and for other agricultural purposes.
