RUSSIAN WHITE

The considered variety of white beans is a medium-maturing, high-yield product bred by European breeders under the name Windsor. The crop is distinguished by its high nutritional value and can serve as a full replacement for meat dishes due to its rich content of protein and trace elements.

The seeds of this variety have a pinkish-yellow color, flat and elongated-oval shapes, with the length of mature pods ranging from 9 to 13 cm. Inside the pods are large, fleshy white seeds without a parchment layer, which do not crack upon maturation. The plant bushes are branched, reaching heights from 60 to 110 cm, providing a reliable support for long pods.

Harvest is achieved within 60-90 days after planting, depending on the specific sub-variety: some sources indicate 80-90 days, while others suggest 60-65 days. Thanks to medium maturity and stable growth, this variety has been in demand on the seed market for over 70 years. It is suitable for both home cultivation and commercial production, preserves well in canned form, and is suitable for stewing whole.
