TEN NEGRIATS

The "TEN NEGRIATS" variety represents a new, cold-hardy, mid-season bean type. The period from germination to technical maturity is 75–85 days, and to seed maturation – 90–110 days. The plant is bush-type, usually forming two to three stems about one meter high, and 16–25 four-seed pods per bush, each 7 to 10 cm long. The pods are sugary, without a parchment layer, and do not crack upon maturation, ensuring seed preservation during storage.

Seeds reach a black-violet color at biological maturity and possess large square longitudinal sections, elliptical in cross-section. In home cooking, mainly young flat beans and green seeds in milk maturity are used, due to their soft taste and high nutritional value. The yield of green beans is about 0.5 kg/m², and of mature seeds – approximately 0.3 kg/m².

The crop is characterized by good taste qualities and resistance to cold conditions. The height of the lower pod attachment ranges from 25–30 cm, which facilitates harvest collection. The variety is recommended for cultivation both at home and on small-scale farm plots where compact bushes with high productivity are valued.
