Description White Pearl
WHITE PEARL is a new type of shelling bean variety, distinguished by its straight shape and medium length of 8–11 cm. The seeds contain 4–5 grains; at the stage of harvest maturity, they have a light color, turning to a bright yellow shade upon full ripening, and acquiring a light brown tone after storage.

The variety is considered medium-early: plants grow for 23–25 days from germination to flowering, technical bean maturity is reached in 55–65 days, and full seed maturation takes about 100 days. Plants have weak branching and a height of 60–100 cm, with typically 8–10 beans formed on each stem.

White Pearl beans are a rich source of plant protein and are widely used in home cooking. Seeds can be used as fresh (for canning, similar to green peas) or fully mature. Yield is approximately 0.3 kg/m². Sowing is done directly into the open ground at a depth of 5–8 cm; the plants are moisture-loving and require irrigation during flowering and fruiting in the absence of rain. When mass flowering begins, shoot tops are pinched to accelerate bean maturation.
