Description
Borets is an early-maturing variety of vegetable beans, growing as a low bush plant up to 60 cm high. Each plant usually forms from seven to fifteen large beans 6–8 cm long. The beans have a green coloration, a straight or slightly curved profile and contain no black hilum, making them particularly attractive for culinary purposes.
Borets pods are distinguished by their meaty texture, tenderness and sweet taste, which makes them perfect as an independent dish, a side dish for meat, or as an ingredient in vegetarian recipes, soups and homemade preserves.
Sowing Borets is carried out in open ground at the end of April–beginning of May at a depth of 5 cm. The recommended sowing scheme is 20×60 cm, which ensures the optimal distance between plants for good root system development and maximum yield potential.
