RUSSIAN BLACKS

Beans "Russian Blacks" are an early variety with high yield, bearing fruit just 70–85 days after sowing. The erect, weakly branched plants reach a height of 60 to 110 cm, providing convenient access to pods and easing harvest collection.

The pods are straight, 8–10 cm long, and lack a parchment layer. Inside are fleshy, oval, flat, dark purple-colored grains. They are rich in protein, making them a valuable ingredient for both home cooking and industrial processing: beans can be used at the milk-wax ripening stage, as well as for canning and freezing.

Bushes of "Russian Blacks" possess natural protection against Colorado beetles and moles, contributing to plant health and increasing the total yield of both beans and neighboring crops. Thanks to these properties, the variety is a popular choice among farmers aiming for sustainable and high-yield production.
