Sunflower seeds "Avalon" are a mid-early hybrid from Serbian selection, distinguished by high resistance to drought, lodging, and cold. The vegetation period from emergence to full seed maturity is approximately 105 days. This variety is recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine, where it demonstrates stable yields up to 5.3 tons per hectare and oil content in seeds at 48-52%. To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to apply the micronutrient "Monochelat Bor" during the six-true-leaf stage. The hybrid "Avalon" exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, which contributes to reduced yield losses and improved seed quality. Due to its adaptive properties, it tolerates adverse weather conditions well, making it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality harvest.
