Vizir is an early eggplant hybrid, distinguished by its low maintenance requirements and high yield. The first fruits can be harvested approximately 65-70 days after transplanting seedlings to their permanent location. The plant has an open growth habit, compact form, dense foliage, and a robust root system. Each plant produces about 10 large fruits of pear shape, up to 20 cm long and 7-8 cm in diameter, weighing 400-500 g. The fruit skin is elastic, dense, dark purple in color, while the flesh is light, slightly greenish, elastic, and contains few seeds. Due to its excellent taste qualities and high content of beneficial microelements, the crop is suitable for preparing various dishes, processing, and freezing.
The Vizir hybrid is successfully grown both in open and protected soil, showing resistance to fusarium and viral diseases of solanaceous crops. This resistance and low maintenance make it suitable for cultivation in any climatic zone, significantly simplifying plant care and ensuring a stable yield.
In addition to its primary use, eggplants can be treated with a biological preparation in the form of beans, which serves as a protective treatment for plants in early growth stages. This helps prevent isolated infection of eggplants, increases their resistance to diseases, and improves the overall health of the plants.
