Beans GL Arabella

Field Performance: GL Arabella Review

Selecting the right bean variety is about balancing yields with operational efficiency. GL Arabella by RWA Ukraina has proven to be a reliable choice for those looking for a predictable and robust crop. The 75–90 day maturity cycle is a significant advantage, allowing for efficient harvest planning and minimizing exposure to late-season weather risks.

Operational Observations

The plant height (81–120 cm) is well-suited for standard agricultural machinery, ensuring clean and efficient harvesting with minimal losses. One of the standout features is the resistance to the Colorado potato beetle. While field monitoring remains necessary, the reduction in required insecticide passes is a major benefit that lowers both operating costs and chemical exposure.

• Grain Quality: Being a large-seeded variety, it handles well during post-harvest processing. The white grain and sweet taste profile make it an excellent choice for high-quality fodder production.
• Growing Conditions: Optimized for open field cultivation, GL Arabella demonstrates rapid early-stage growth. This vigorous development helps suppress weeds naturally, reducing the need for intensive inter-row maintenance.

Working with GL Arabella is straightforward. It is a high-tech variety that rewards good agronomic practices with consistent growth and a stable harvest, meeting all the performance markers promised by RWA Ukraina.
