SULTAN'S DREAMS

Sultan's Dreams is a new early-maturing basil variety with a pronounced clove-peppery aroma that imparts a special spicy note to dishes. The period from sowing to first marketable harvest is 45-50 days, allowing for a fast yield. The plants feature good foliage and sturdy structure, with a diameter of 20-26 cm and a height of 22-26 cm; the mass of a single plant reaches 150-200 grams. Green yield is high — from 1.7 to 2.0 kg per square meter.

This basil variety is recommended for use both fresh and dried. It is an excellent choice as a flavorful addition to various salads, hot dishes, and pickling, making it a versatile kitchen ingredient. Thanks to its rich aroma and taste, basil Sultan's Dreams can significantly enhance gastronomic impressions.

Growing this variety requires a warm climate and fertile, well-warmed, wind-protected plots with light loamy soils rich in organic matter. Sowing seeds is carried out at the end of March – beginning of April in trays at a depth of 0.5-1 cm at a temperature of 20-25°C. Seedlings appear within 10-15 days. Seedlings are transplanted to open ground after the last frost, with a spacing of 15-20 cm between plants in a row and 60 cm between rows; planting depth is 6-8 cm. Successful rooting requires 2-3 waterings. Care includes loosening between rows, weeding, watering, and applying fertilizers, which contributes to obtaining a high-quality yield.
