Basil GUERMAN CLOVE

A Spicy Classic for Your Garden

The "Gourmet Clove" (Gurman Gvozdichny) basil from Agrofirma Aelita is the choice for growers who value both decorative appeal and a distinct flavor profile. Developed by a team of breeders including Natalya Nastenko, Vladimir Kachaynik, and Mikhail Gulkin, this variety is tailored for both home gardens and culinary use.

Agricultural Characteristics

The plant grows to a height of 40–50 cm, making it suitable for open fields and compact greenhouses alike. With a maturity period of 50–60 days, it allows for efficient succession planting throughout the summer season. To achieve maximum yields, it is recommended to plant in sunny areas with well-drained, fertile soil.

Practical Applications

• Culinary Preservation: As the name suggests, this variety offers a unique spicy clove aroma. It is indispensable for marinades and home canning, where its pungent notes complement vegetable preparations perfectly.
• Fresh Consumption: The leaves add depth to vegetable salads, providing a sophisticated flavor that rivals professional culinary standards.
• Herbal Blends and Seasoning: The spicy quality of this basil remains potent even after drying, making it an excellent candidate for winter pantry stocks.
• Decorative Use: The compact, lush foliage serves as an aesthetic addition to vegetable patches and an elegant garnish for plating dishes.
