Description Stella
Basil variety Stella is a mid-early variety with a period from full germination to the beginning of flowering of 30-40 days. Plants reach a height of 30-40 cm, have a green stem and large elongated-oval green leaves. Leaves are smooth or weakly blistered, with a strong clove aroma, which makes this variety particularly attractive for use in culinary applications.

The plant is compact, allowing it to be grown both in open ground and in pots, as well as on salad lines. The weight of one plant varies from 180 to 250 grams, indicating good yield. Flowers of basil are white, and the leaf petiole is of medium length. The variety is tolerant to fusarium, which increases its resistance to diseases and facilitates care.

For sowing, it is recommended to use seeds in April or May, at a temperature of 15-25°C seedlings appear in 10 days. The optimal interval between rows is 10-25 cm. Harvest can be done in July and August, allowing to get fresh aromatic leaves throughout the summer.
