Barley Peremozhets

Stable Yields in Challenging Conditions

The winter barley variety "Peremozhets" from the seed breeding company "List" is a choice for farmers focused on predictable results. Unlike many imported hybrids that require ideal conditions, this six-row variety was developed specifically for Ukrainian soil and climatic realities. Its primary value lies in its ability to mitigate the impact of stress factors that often diminish yield potential in fields with lower-intensity agricultural management.

A Phytosanitary Shield for Your Crop

A key feature of "Peremozhets" is its genetic resistance to diseases that typically undermine barley profitability:

• Pathogen Resistance: The variety demonstrates high immunity to helminthosporiosis, powdery mildew, and onion stem smut.
• Root System Protection: Thanks to its resistance to root rot and covered smut, the crop maintains stand density even during prolonged wet autumns or early springs.

This makes the variety an optimal solution for farms looking to optimize fungicide application costs. Where other varieties require emergency chemical intervention, "Peremozhets" manages with its own natural defenses.

Who is this variety for?

"Peremozhets" is well-suited for agricultural enterprises practicing both intensive and extensive farming techniques. Its six-row ear possesses high plasticity, allowing the variety to maximize yields even under moisture deficit conditions. The variety's originators—a team of breeders led by Oleksandr Karpenko, Anatoliy Krayevskyi, and Yuriy Lukyanchyk—have engineered this genotype to balance winter hardiness with rapid early-season growth.

If your goal is to achieve stable total yields while keeping crop protection costs under control, this variety represents a reliable investment in your farm's seed stock.
