Morphology and Development

The plant exhibits a semi-erect habit and medium heading dates. Visually, «Guru» is easily recognized by its long awns with intense anthocyanin coloration at the tips, giving the crops a distinct appearance. The pyramidal, lax ear has a semi-nodding position, which promotes uniform grain ripening.

• Grain: Elliptical shape, hulled, with a coarsely wrinkled surface of the lemma.
• Features: Moderate waxy bloom on the flag leaf, increasing resistance to environmental stress factors.
