Winter barley Gerlach

Winter barley variety Gerlach is a plastic, six-row fodder variety with high resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew, rhiñhosporiosis, and leaf blotch. This variety is characterized by high cold tolerance and lodging resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Gerlach is suitable for cultivation across the entire territory of Ukraine, including regions such as Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv.

The yield potential of Gerlach variety reaches 8.5 tons per hectare, ensuring high productivity under proper care. The seeding rate is 3.5 to 4.5 million seeds per hectare. Seeds are packaged in bags of 20, 25, and 40 kilograms, which is convenient for various sowing scales.

Due to its plasticity and high drought resistance, barley Gerlach is an optimal choice for fodder use.
