"Special" grape is an early-ripening table variety with large white oval berries. This variety is characterized by high and stable yields, reaching 9-10 tons per hectare. The bushes are vigorous with good cane ripening, which contributes to quality fruit formation. The period from bud break to full berry maturity is about 115 days with an active temperature sum of about 2370°C, allowing for early harvest.
Leaves are of medium size, deeply lobed, five-lobed, with a smooth or slightly wrinkled light green upper side and a non-hairy underside. Bunches are conical in shape, medium density and large size, weighing from 150 to 370 grams. Berries are large, weighing 2-2.5 grams, round-oval, covered with a thick waxy bloom, with a thin white skin that is practically imperceptible during consumption. The pulp is dense, fleshy and juicy with a harmonious taste. Berries contain one to three seeds of medium size.
The variety has medium winter hardiness and requires winter covering. Disease and pest resistance is medium; however, the variety is susceptible to downy mildew. Due to its characteristics, "Special" is recommended for growing in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. This grape is excellent for fresh consumption and transport due to satisfactory transportability.
