Apple Legend

The "Legend" apple variety is a columnar tree with a compact crown, ranging from 2 to 3 meters in height. The crown is narrow with numerous upward-directed shoots, making the tree easy to grow even on limited plots. The variety is early-bearing, entering fruit production in the second year after planting, with maximum yield achieved by the fifth year. The tree's longevity is about 15 years; it is characterized by high frost resistance, enduring temperatures down to -30 degrees, and resistance to powdery mildew and other fungal diseases. "Legend" apple fruits are large and extra-large, weighing from 180 to 400 grams. Apples have a rich red skin color with a golden-green base, and a dense, shiny skin. The flesh is cream-colored, juicy and crisp, with a distinct caramel sweet taste and strong aroma, making them an excellent dessert. Harvest occurs in early October, and fruits can be stored until January, retaining their taste qualities and freshness. This apple variety is excellent for growing in a temperate climate and requires a sunny location with fertile and well-drained soil. Due to high yield and fruit quality, "Legend" is one of the best options for home gardening. Apples are versatile in use: they can be eaten fresh or used for various types of culinary processing. Even beginner gardeners will be able to provide their family with tasty and large apples for the whole winter.
