Apple ALIBEKOV'S ANNIVERSARY

Efficient Apple Production with 'Yubileynoye Alibekova'

The 'Yubileynoye Alibekova' apple variety, developed by the Federal Agrarian Research Center (FARC) of the Republic of Dagestan, offers a robust solution for growers focused on high-quality autumn harvests. Featuring a moderately vigorous tree with a well-shaped, rounded crown, this variety is engineered for density-managed orchards, simplifying both maintenance and mechanical harvesting operations.

Key Agronomic Benefits

For farm management, the primary value of this variety lies in its predictable performance and disease resistance:

• Pathogen Resistance: The variety shows strong resistance to powdery mildew and apple scab, which is critical for reducing fungicide applications and lowering overall operational costs.
• Marketable Fruit Parameters: With a fruit weight of 100–150 grams, 'Yubileynoye Alibekova' is ideally sized for retail distribution. The yellow skin with a prominent red blush provides excellent visual appeal, supported by a pleasant, creamy flesh.
• Orchard Management: The tree's moderate growth habit minimizes the need for excessive pruning, reducing labor intensity during the growing season.

Cultivation and Practical Use

Designed for professional growers, 'Yubileynoye Alibekova' is an excellent candidate for regions where disease pressure is a concern. While it possesses average winter hardiness, its reliability as an autumn-ripening variety makes it a valuable asset for maintaining a balanced harvest cycle. By choosing this variety, farm managers can optimize their spray schedules and benefit from a fruit that combines aesthetic quality with a long-term commercial track record.
