Korall

The Corall apple variety is a winter-hardy and dwarf variety, characterized by a strong and beautiful tree with a narrow pyramidal crown of medium density. The tree grows slowly and usually begins bearing fruit in the fourth year after planting. The apple leaves are large, elongated, dark green, and glossy, which gives the plant decorative appeal. The variety is adapted for the Central Black Earth and North Caucasus regions, indicating its adaptation to various climatic conditions.

The Corall variety fruits are large, weighing about 175 grams, round-conical or cylindrical in shape with a slightly ribbed surface. The apples have a light yellow color with a burgundy-red diffuse striped blush, making them very attractive. The flesh is white, dense, finely textured, and very juicy, with a sour-sweet taste and a delicate aroma. The apples are known for their good storage life and can be kept until January, allowing their use during the winter period. The fruit's taste and texture resemble the Jonagold variety but with more pronounced juiciness.

The Corall variety is resistant to diseases and has a medium yield of about 750 centners per hectare. The tree has high winter hardiness and withstands frost well, making it a reliable choice for growing in various regions. Thanks to the compact crown shape and slow growth, the apple tree is convenient for planting in limited areas and in gardens with an intensive type of cultivation.
