BLAGAYA VEST

The Blagaya Vest apple variety represents a medium-sized tree with a pyramidal or oval crown, distinguished by rapid growth and moderate crown density. This late-winter variety was developed at the Sverdlovsk Breeding Station of Horticulture in the early 21st century through the crossing of the Krasa Sverdlovsk variety with the immune form X-2034. The tree possesses high frost resistance and resistance to scab, making it particularly suitable for cultivation in regions with severe climatic conditions, such as the Urals, Altai Krai, and Siberia. The fruits of the Blagaya Vest apple tree have an oval-round shape, with an average weight ranging from 85 to 138 grams. Their coloration features a green-yellow background with a pink blush. The flesh is creamy, dense, juicy, with a harmonious acid-sweet taste, confirmed by a high tasting score of 4.8 points. Apples are distinguished by good market and consumer qualities, are transportable, and can be stored in fresh form for 240–280 days, allowing their use for a long period after harvest. The Blagaya Vest variety is characterized by high yield—up to 40 to 60 kilograms of fruits can be collected annually from one tree. The apple tree is self-fertile and differs in stable fruiting. Thanks to its strong immunity and undemanding care, this variety is an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to obtain high-quality and tasty apples with minimal costs for plant protection and care.
