ARK SHARM

The Ark Charm apple variety is a decorative and fruit-bearing tree that combines high decorative value with resistance to adverse weather conditions. The tree reaches a height of 4 to 6 meters and has a medium-sized spreading crown with dark green oval leaves with a glossy surface. Blooming begins in mid-May and lasts about two weeks; the flowers are large, white with a pink tint, semi-double, which adds special attractiveness to the tree during the blooming period. Fruits ripen by the end of September; they are large, yellow-green with a red blush, about 1.5-2 cm in diameter, and remain on the tree until the first frosts, attracting birds.

The variety is well-adapted to various soils, preferring well-drained loam or sandy loam soils with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction (pH 6.0–7.0). For successful growth and fruiting, planting with an interval of 4-5 meters in holes 60 cm deep and 100 cm in diameter is recommended. An important condition is regular watering, especially in the first year after planting, as well as fertilizing with organic and mineral fertilizers in the spring and autumn. Pruning in early spring is carried out to form the crown and rejuvenate the tree.

The Ark Charm apple tree requires pollinators, such as the Antonovka, Moscow Grushovka, and Melba varieties. The tree is resistant to some pests but can be affected by apple worm and aphids, and is susceptible to diseases such as scab and powdery mildew. Thanks to its decorative qualities and fruiting, the variety is widely used in home gardens, parks, and landscape design, being an excellent choice for creating beautiful and functional green plantings.
