Anemone Feya

Operational and Cultivation Guidelines for Anemone 'Feya'

The 'Feya' variety, developed by the Federal Research Center for Subtropical Science (Russia/Georgia origin), is a perennial crop designed for professional-grade landscaping and floral production. For operators and landscape managers, the key to successful cultivation lies in precise soil preparation and water management. Given its perennial nature, this anemone requires a stable, well-drained environment to ensure year-over-year viability.

Maintenance and Technical Performance

• Soil Requirements: The plant thrives in loose, airy substrates. Proper drainage management is critical during the off-season to prevent root rot.
• Irrigation Efficiency: 'Feya' is highly sensitive to waterlogging. Implementing a drip irrigation system with pH monitoring of the water supply is the most reliable maintenance protocol for commercial-scale plots.
• Variety Versatility: The cultivar is available in four distinct colorways: white, red, blue, and purple. This simplifies inventory management, allowing operators to create intricate visual patterns using a single, consistent plant variety.
• Ease of Care: Unlike more demanding species, 'Feya' offers predictable growth cycles. It performs best in partial shade, reducing the need for artificial shading structures in hot climates.

Maintenance is straightforward for those familiar with perennial care. Regular fertilization during the budding phase is essential for optimal flower output. The variety’s inherent hardiness makes it a reliable choice for professional landscaping, provided that the initial site preparation follows standard agricultural best practices for temperate to subtropical bulbs.
