RED CAP is an autumn anemone that begins blooming in mid-summer and continues to delight the garden until the first frost. The plant reaches a height of 15–20 cm, but with good care can grow slightly taller. The flowers are semi-double, bright raspberry in color, often with a delicate yellow center, making them especially attractive in summer and autumn garden interiors.
The fruits and leaves of the 'Red Cap' anemone have a distinctive appearance: the foliage is dark green, deeply lobed with a bluish tint. The plant quickly gains height and blooms abundantly in full bouquets, creating rich compositions of bright flowers. Thanks to its frost hardiness, 'Red Cap' withstands cool nights well and can remain in the garden even at low temperatures.
For optimal growth, the anemone prefers partial shade, although it also grows successfully in full sun if the soil is well-drained. Regular watering and moderate fertilization promote denser flowering and healthy plant development. This makes 'Red Cap' an excellent choice for both small flower beds and large garden plots, where it adds bright accents during the summer and autumn periods.
