Anemone Lada

Georgian pedigree for your garden

The ‘Lada’ anemone is the product of extensive breeding work by the Federal Research Centre “Subtropical Scientific Centre of the RAS”. Developed under conditions mirroring the Georgian subtropics, this variety possesses exceptional hardiness. Unlike many decorative hybrids that require greenhouse protection, this perennial is adapted to temperature fluctuations and the unique requirements of southern soils.

Strengths and Key Features

• Vitality: As a perennial crop, ‘Lada’ provides stable aesthetic appeal in a single location over multiple seasons.
• Adaptability: The genetic foundation provided by the Subtropical Scientific Centre ensures the plant thrives in environments where more delicate analogs often suffer from reduced blooming intensity.
• Aesthetics: The variety features clear, vibrant colors and petal structures characteristic of classic anemones, making it a preferred choice for landscape designers working in southern climates.

Who is this variety for?

‘Lada’ is the optimal solution for professional landscapers and garden enthusiasts who value reliability. This is not a plant for “quick results,” but rather for those planning long-term garden projects. It is important to note that the variety requires proper drainage: in high-moisture environments or dense soil, root system development may slow down. Therefore, ‘Lada’ performs best in areas with light, well-aerated soils and adequate light exposure.
