Description Sunny
Actinidia 'Sunny' is a tall, climbing vine reaching heights of up to 10–12 meters. The plant belongs to the Actinidiaceae family and is characterized by medium ripening, making it an ideal choice for open-ground gardens. Thanks to its cold hardiness in USDA zone 4b, 'Sunny' withstands cold periods well, maintaining its decorative appearance even at low temperatures.

For successful actinidia cultivation, a support is necessary: an arch or strong tying, since the plant is climbing and prone to creeping. Additionally, 'Sunny' is self-sterile and requires pollinators – saplings are planted only in pairs with a pollinator, as the plants are dioecious. With proper care, the bush begins to bear fruit by the 3–4th year after planting, and the yield can reach 15–25 kg per adult bush.

Actinidia fruits are large, elongated-cylindrical berries of a light-green color. The flesh is tender and sour-sweet, with a slight pineapple flavor, and the weight of one berry is 14–16 g. The ripening period is mid-September. The plant prefers sunny, wind-protected sites and grows well on drained fertile soils. Thanks to its unpretentious care and high yield, 'Sunny' becomes an excellent decorative-edible element of any garden.
