Actinidia 'Holiday' – a decorative evergreen climbing shrub of the Actinidia genus, related to kiwi. The plant is distinguished by beautiful, often variegated leaves and long, flexible vines up to 5–10 meters long, which are easily laid on trellises, pergolas, walls, or fences. Thanks to its structure and bright green coloring, the shoots create a picturesque background for windows, doors, gazebos, and terraces.
'Holiday' is distinguished by high yield: on average, the plant brings 15 kg of fruits per season. The berries have an elongated shape, weight of 12–17 g, rich green color and juicy flesh with a delicate sweet taste. They are rich in vitamin C and trace elements, which makes them valuable both in cooking and in dietary nutrition.
Care for actinidia is simple: the plant prefers semi-shady places, but it grows well in sunny areas as well. It is necessary to provide support for the vine, regularly pruning branches to maintain shape and stimulate fruiting. 'Holiday' is self-sterile, begins to bear fruit already in the 2nd–3rd year after planting, and its life cycle can reach up to 100 years, which makes it a profitable choice for long-term landscape design.
