Actinidia GARDEN FANTASY

Botanical Profile and Pollination Dynamics

Actinidia 'Fantaziya Sadov' is a specialized selection developed by Ella Ioganovna Kolbasina. From a technical standpoint, the plant is strictly dioecious. This biological trait dictates the necessity of planting both female specimens and compatible male pollinator plants within the same proximity. In practical cultivation, this is the primary mechanism for ensuring effective fertilization and the subsequent development of viable fruit sets.

Fruit Morphology and Organoleptic Profile

The breeding objectives for 'Fantaziya Sadov' prioritized a refined balance of biochemical components, resulting in a distinctively sweet flavor profile. The fruit features a consistent green skin color that persists through the full ripening phase. The internal flesh maintains a stable green pigmentation, indicating the retention of chlorophyll and key antioxidant compounds. This consistency in color and sugar-acid balance distinguishes the variety in terms of quality and post-harvest appeal.

Agronomic Context and Implementation

Tailored for the climatic conditions of Russia, this variety demonstrates specific environmental adaptability. Cultivation success hinges on strict adherence to the plant's pollination requirements. When laying out the plantation, it is essential to align the female vines with male counterparts that share overlapping bloom periods. As the variety is protected by patent, ensuring the use of authentic material from the originator, Ella Ioganovna Kolbasina, is paramount to maintaining the integrity of the vine's morphological and production traits.
