Actinidia arguta «Original» – a care-free variety with high and stable yield. The plant is dioecious, so a pollinator must be used when planting; the «Nostino» variety is typically chosen for this purpose. The vine reaches a height of 10–12 meters, and fruits appear by the third or fourth year after planting.

Actinidia arguta fruits are large and elongated-cylindrical. The berry skin is smooth and light green, while the flesh is tender with a sweet-and-sour taste, featuring notes of pineapple and kiwi. Each fruit weighs 14–16 grams, and an adult bush can yield up to 10–25 kilograms.

The variety is distinguished by its high frost resistance – it withstands temperatures down to -25 °C. For optimal growth, plants are recommended to be planted in sunny areas protected from wind and with well-drained fertile soil. With proper care and feeding (e.g., complex fertilizers for grapes), «Original» actinidia ensures a stable yield in mid-September, with fruits retaining their aroma and taste until the beginning of October.
