Description AUTC
The Auток apricot variety is a high-yield medium-maturing variety developed with French breeding participation and widely spread in Uzbekistan. Trees of this variety differ in medium to above-average size, with round or panicle-shaped dense crowns and raised skeletal branches. Leaves are green, and flowers are large and pink. The variety begins bearing fruit in the 3rd-4th year after planting and is characterized by high stable yield, reaching about 13 tons per hectare.

Auток apricot fruits are large, up to 65 grams, oval or wide-oval in shape with a long stem. The skin varies from yellow to light orange and is adorned with a beautiful raspberry or pink-red blush, which occupies a significant part of the surface. The flesh is bright yellow or orange, juicy, of medium density, with a pleasant sour-sweet taste and a delicate aroma. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for making jams, juices, preserves, desserts, and drinks. The harvest period falls in late June to mid-July.

The Auток variety is distinguished by high disease resistance, including chlorosis and cockle, which contributes to extending the life of trees and yield stability. In addition, the apricot has increased winter hardiness and good transportability, which makes it attractive for commercial cultivation. Trees are vigorous with spreading crowns requiring regular thinning, and the variety is self-fruitful, growing well both in single and group plantings.
