DIVNY

The Apricot variety DIVNY is a medium-sized tree with a round, spreading canopy of medium density and slightly raised skeletal branches. Shoots have a brownish-grey color and an arc-like shape, while leaves are medium-sized, round, smooth, and matte. The tree is characterized by medium winter hardiness and disease resistance, and in certain years exhibits partial self-fertility, which contributes to stable fruiting.

DIVNY apricot fruits are large, weighing about 50-51 grams, flat-round in shape with bright yellow skin that is tender and velvety. The flesh is light orange, medium density, juicy, with a sour-sweet taste, confirmed by a tasting score of 4.7 points. The stone is of medium size and separates well from the flesh. The fruits contain about 9.5% sugars, 2.3% acids, and 1.8 mg% of vitamin C, making them beneficial and delicious.

The variety belongs to the early ripening period; fruits ripen in the end of the third decade of June – the beginning of the first decade of July. DIVNY apricot is versatile in application: its fruits are consumed fresh and also used for processing. Thanks to good immunity and cold hardiness, this variety is suitable for cultivation in both private gardens and on an industrial scale, providing high yields up to 10 tons per hectare.
