Zucchini Karambol F1 is an ultra-early hybrid with a short growing period — only 35–40 days. The plant is compact and bush-type, making care and harvest easier. The cylindrical fruits, 15–18 cm long and weighing 350–700 g, have a thin skin of light green or pale salad color and juicy white flesh with a pleasant taste that remains even when slightly overripe. The seed cavity in the fruits does not develop until harvest, making them especially suitable for daily consumption.
Karambol F1 is characterized by high yield — up to 40–60 tons per hectare. The hybrid is resistant to true powdery mildew and has good adaptability to various climatic conditions. For successful cultivation, choose light, neutral soils, previously applying organic fertilizers and, if necessary, liming the soil. Optimal predecessors for planting are tomatoes, potatoes, and onions.
Zucchini can be grown both in open ground and in protected soil. Seeds are sown directly into the soil after the end of spring frosts, at a depth of 5–7 cm, with spacing between plants of 70–80 cm. To accelerate fruiting, seedlings can be grown and transplanted in early June. In greenhouses, pollination by bees is necessary. The plant requires regular watering, soil loosening, weeding, and feeding, especially responding well to manure. Harvesting fruits should be done every 2–3 days to maintain high quality and quantity of yield.
