Description Helena
The Zucchini variety HELENA is an early-bush plant with a short main vine about 40 cm long. The fruits have a cylindrical shape, smooth surface and reach a length of 20-25 cm with a diameter of 5-6 cm. At technical maturity, they have a golden-yellow color, and at full biological maturity they become orange, giving them an attractive appearance. Fruit mass varies from 0.5 to 0.9 kg, and the pulp is characterized by density, juiciness and a rich yellow shade, with a high content of carotene.

The variety is valued for its excellent taste qualities and versatility, as fruits are suitable for all types of processing. For growing, sowing seeds for seedlings at the end of April – beginning of May is recommended, followed by planting in well-warmed, fertile soil with a deep plow layer. The optimal temperature for growth is 20-25 °C. Plants are planted one per square meter, avoiding frosts.

Care for zucchini includes regular watering, weeding, loosening interrows and feeding with complex mineral fertilizers, especially during flowering and fruiting. The harvest is collected 1-2 times a week, preventing the fruits from over-ripening, which ensures maintaining their high quality and taste.
