TINTORETTO

Tintoretto zucchini is an early-maturing variety valued by both novice and experienced gardeners for its short maturation period and high yield. The plant is bushy and compact, allowing it to be grown both in open ground and in 8-10 liter pots. The fruits are round, light green in color with diffuse mottling and slight ribbing, weighing from 0.8 to 2.1 kg. The flesh is light, juicy and tender, with a small number of seeds, making this variety particularly attractive for fresh consumption and various culinary purposes.

For successful cultivation of Tintoretto, it is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings at the end of April - beginning of May, and then transplant to a permanent location in well-warmed, fertile soil with a deep plow layer. The optimal temperature for growth is 20-25 °C. Plants require regular watering, weeding, loosening of interrows and top dressing with complex mineral fertilizers, especially during flowering and fruiting. Planting is done by one plant per square meter, while it is important to avoid frost.

Harvest is collected weekly, avoiding over-ripening of fruits, as young fruits have the best taste qualities. Tintoretto zucchini is suitable for direct consumption, preparation of various dishes and canning. Due to good storage capabilities, fruits can be stored up to a month without losing their taste qualities. This variety is undemanding and has an original appearance, which makes it a popular choice for diverse growing conditions.
