MS CAVETA

The 'Caveta' zucchini variety is an early-maturing type with a vegetative period from the first emergence to harvest, averaging from 34 to 70 days. The plant has a semi-bush form with one main vine up to 100 centimeters long. The fruits have a cylindrical or bullet shape, smooth surface, and are colored pale white or greenish-white. The fruit length reaches up to 40 centimeters, the diameter is about 10 centimeters, and the weight varies from 0.7 to 1.8 kilograms. The flesh is creamy or pale yellow, juicy, with excellent taste qualities, containing about 4.4% dry matter and 2.4% total sugar.

The 'Caveta' variety is distinguished by high yield — with proper agronomy, 2.7 to 6.3 kilograms of select fruits can be harvested from one square meter. From one plant, 5 to 14 zucchinis form. The early ripening period allows harvesting from July to September. The zucchini is resistant to diseases, in particular downy mildew and fruit fungal rots, which makes it a reliable choice for growing both in open and closed ground.

This variety is ideal for culinary use, pickling young fruits, and making zucchini caviar thanks to the thin skin and excellent taste qualities. It is recommended to grow it on sunny or half-shaded areas. The annual 'Caveta' plant from the AGRONI producer combines high productivity, disease resistance, and versatility in home cooking.
