Lonicera 'Rassvet' is a mid-season variety with medium-height, spreading bushes. The canes are of medium length, curved and green, thornless, and slightly hairy. The leaves are dark green with a slightly hairy upper side and densely hairy lower edge; the leaf base is rounded, and the tip gradually tapers.
The flowers are of medium size and have a pale hue. The berries weigh about 1 g, are spindle-shaped cylindrical, dark blue in color, covered with a medium-intensity waxy bloom and thick skin. Inside, they contain 6.0% sugar, 1.3% acid, and 79.6 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of product. Their taste is sour-sweet with a slight aroma; the tasting score is 4.5 points.
The variety yields up to 53 centners per hectare, and its frost resistance makes it suitable for cultivation in cold climatic conditions.
