Lonicera variety "Hidzyuka Memory" – a semi-dwarf, semi-spreading bush up to 1.2 m in height with a rounded shape. Shoots are thin, curved, hairless, with drooping tops, matte, and leaves are light green, elongated oval. Bushes bear fruit as early as the second year after planting and are self-sterile, allowing them to be grown without additional pollinators.
Fruits of this variety are medium-sized (0.8–1.1 g) with an elongated-cylindrical shape, almost black with a waxy coating. The fruit skin is of medium thickness, while the flesh is tender and juicy. The taste of the berries is sour-sweet, rated at 4.8 points, making them an excellent choice both for fresh consumption and for making desserts.
"Hidzyuka Memory" is distinguished by high yield – from 2.0 to 2.8 kg per bush by the 7th–10th year. Bushes are resistant to drought, diseases, and pests, as well as having good winter hardiness. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including southern regions of Ukraine, where ripening occurs in the second half of June.
