TOKKATA wheat is a medium-maturing soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety with a vegetation period ranging from 79 to 97 days. This variety is characterized by medium plant height and high growth intensity, ensuring good adaptation to various climatic conditions. The mass of 1000 grains varies between 33-47 grams, indicating grain size and quality. TOKKATA was developed by Czech breeders of SELGEN A.S. and recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Ryazan, Tula, Belgorod, Kursk, Lipetsk, and Tambov regions. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and diseases, which significantly reduces the risk of yield losses. Moderate resistance is noted to powdery mildew, while resistance to brown leaf rust is assessed as weak. Additionally, the variety exhibits drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under variable moisture conditions. For seed protection, treatment with fungicides and insecticides is recommended, which contributes to maintaining plant health and increasing yield. TOKKATA demonstrates high yield: average figures in the Central region are around 36.9 centners per hectare, while in the Central Black Earth region, yield reaches 50.8 centners per hectare. The potential maximum yield from trials can reach up to 98.7 centners per hectare. Sowing rate is 420–520 seeds per square meter. Thanks to the high technological characteristics of the grain, the variety is widely used in bakery production, providing quality raw material for baked goods.
