The spring soft wheat variety «Tertia» is characterized by high drought, disease, and pest resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in the forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia and the Urals. This variety is distinguished by high yield, lodging resistance, and good baking qualities. Thanks to the use of genes providing protection against brown rust, «Tertia» is immune to all major diseases, which significantly reduces the risk of yield losses and improves grain quality.
To protect «Tertia» wheat seeds from various infections, it is recommended to use a specialized seed treatment containing three active components: prochloraz, triticonazole, and azoxystrobin. This three-component systemic agent effectively prevents the development of snow mold, root rots, seed mold, ergot, and other diseases that may negatively affect seedling emergence and plant development.
Seed treatment with the preparation is carried out before sowing or 24 months prior, which ensures long-term protection against soil and seed-borne infections. The preparation improves seedling emergence and promotes root system development, enhancing plant resistance to adverse conditions. For storage, the seed treatment is recommended to be kept in hermetically sealed packaging at temperatures from -10°C to +35°C, which preserves its effectiveness and quality.
