Wheat Svitanok Myronivskyi

The Myronivka Breeding Legacy

"Svitanok Myronivskyi" is a product of the renowned V.M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat. Registered in 2014, this winter wheat variety was developed to meet the demands of farmers operating in the challenging climatic zones of the Steppe and Polissia. Its key strength lies in the balance between intensive growth and high adaptability to environmental stress.

Morphological Traits and Potential

Unlike taller varieties, "Svitanok Myronivskyi" features a short stem, which provides excellent resistance to lodging, even under high-input cultivation. The plant is characterized by a heavy waxy bloom on the ear and the upper internode, serving as a robust shield against moisture loss and heat stress during dry spells.

• Ear Type: Cylindrical, lax, white or straw-yellow in color.
• Grain: Large, red-colored, with a high length-to-width ratio.
• Development: A mid-season variety that exhibits early heading, allowing it to efficiently utilize spring moisture reserves.

This variety is engineered for high-quality grain production. Its genetic profile allows it to withstand adverse environmental factors, maintaining productivity where other varieties might suffer yield losses. It is an ideal choice for farms prioritizing harvest stability and ease of mechanical harvesting.
