Nezlamna

A Symbol of Resilience in Ukrainian Fields

The «Nezlamna» wheat variety is the result of long-term breeding work by the Selektsiino-henetychnyi instytut (Natsionalnyi tsentr nasinnieznavstva ta sortovyvchennia), officially registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2025. Created through complex hybridization, this variety embodies adaptability to the country's changing climatic conditions.

Adaptation and Geography

«Nezlamna» demonstrates high plasticity, making it recommended for cultivation across all key agro-climatic zones of Ukraine: the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. This broad zoning makes it a versatile tool for farmers working in diverse soil and climatic environments.

Morphological Features

The plant is characterized by an erect growth habit and medium stem height. A key feature is the strong waxy bloom on the upper internode and the flag leaf, providing additional protection during drought periods. The pyramidal, medium-sized ear with awns and white coloration at maturity gives the variety a distinct appearance. The red-colored grain has medium size and shape parameters, confirming the balance of its biological characteristics.

Technological Profile

«Nezlamna» belongs to the winter type of development. Early heading dates allow the plant to effectively utilize spring moisture before the onset of peak summer temperatures. Low pubescence and moderate ear density, combined with high resistance to stress factors, make this variety a promising choice for farms focused on stable yields in an unstable climate.
